We have all played charades before but virtual charades is still just as fun! This is a disciple-friendly and kingdom-focused version of the game!
THE OVERVIEW OF THE DATE
Before the date, create a group text with all the disciples. Provide a creative invitation including the date and time. Preferably, have each date send their date the invitation; however, sending it to the group would still be encouraging. Canva offers free and beautiful designs you could work with for your invitations!

“Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules” (2 Timothy 2:5 NIV)
Begin your date promptly at the start time and allow at least 15 minutes for adjusting and technical difficulties. Once everything is settled and everyone is caught up, you can then start your kingdom date with a prayer led by one of the brothers and then begin with this scripture. We are all competitive when we play games and this will be a fun night, however, we must play by the rules and be surrendered to the score!
For this particular activity, you can either play this as Charades-style (acting), Pictionary-style (drawing), or Taboo-style (describing). The objective of the game is to have your team get as man points. You will be divided by your dates. To make this as simple and less complicated as possible, it would help if a household combined their date with another household so that less printing is involved but nevertheless everyone could print out the cards if necessary. I would highly encourage a timer for the game but if the internet is too delayed I would have a guess limit of 3.
Charades Instructions
Charades is an acting game. The person playing out the words is not allowed to speak or use props. Please make sure to let your dates know before hand so they are ready to be active. (No dresses and no pajamas on the bottom half LOL!)
Pictionary Instructions
Pictionary is a drawing game. The person drawing out the words is not allowed to write out any words. I would recommend using Zoom for this date because there is a "Whiteboard" option when you "Share Screen".
Taboo Instructions
Taboo is a description game. You have a word or phrase that you must describe but you cannot use the word itself to describe the word.

Huge shout out to Peter Markarian (Miami) and Brina Gamble (Chicago) for helping me with this date!
