Shelter-in-place doesn't mean you can't still roam the world from your computer! Take your date to the church in Paris or Mexico! Connect with disciples globally and see where they have Bible Talk and church services!
I am a huge extrovert and have a deep desire to be outside but due to the pandemic we are all expected to be indoors. With God's grace, he has allowed technology to connect us with the outside world, take advantage of the opportunity Google Earth has given us to visit other countries and cities outside of our own! This is a super fun way to interact and double date with brothers and sisters all over the world!
THE OVERVIEW FOR THE DATE
Again, please start your date with a group text confirming the time and date of the date to make sure it works for everyone. Then those who are confirmed will receive a well thought out invitation to join the date! For this date, we will be doubling with our dear friends Claudia and Dillon from Denver, Colorado.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8 NIV)
Begin your date promptly at the start time and allow at least 15 minutes for adjusting and technical difficulties. Once everything is settled and everyone is caught up, you can then start your kingdom date with a prayer led by one of the brothers and then begin with this scripture. Remind everyone that we are to evangelize the whole world and this is an opportunity we can share to check out different mission fields!
Please feel free to personalize your destinations and the theme of this date! You can set the destinations to the places you would like to go on a mission team or travel around Jerusalem where Jesus preached! The ideas are endless!
ACTVITY
Have a plan with places you would like to visit. For this date, we will be going to Rome and looking at some historical places that are both touristic and spiritual. One of the places we will be seeing is the Mamertine Prison, the place where Paul wrote his prison letters to the church. We will remind ourselves of the impact he had on the world despite being enclosed within the cell he was in. We will prayerfully be inspired to do "even greater things" than Paul during this shelter-in-place!
In addition, we will have a time at the end of our tour in Rome to visit our respective city and show our friends a tour of where we have Bible Talk, where the households are, the places we love to eat, and the prayer spots we have been able to find!
