All kids are being home schooled and those who are still in school are studying at home. It's a crazy time but it doesn't mean we can't be light-hearted about the situation!

In the midst of all the assignments you may have, this is a fun way to step into the Kingdom Classroom! This is a date that includes an activity that will help us learn our ABC's and learn about one another!

THE OVERVIEW FOR THE DATE

Again, please start your date with a group text confirming the time and date of the kingdom date to make sure it works for everyone. Then those who are confirmed will receive a well thought out invitation to join the date that fits with the theme!

Begin your date promptly at the start time and allow at least 15 minutes for adjusting and technical difficulties. Once everything is settled and everyone is caught up, you can then start your kingdom date with a prayer led by one of the brothers and then start the date with a Kid's Kingdom song!

“You need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again." (Hebrews 5:12b NIV)

I hope one of you has served in Kid's Kingdom before and remember a song or two. Some of my favorites are "Walking on Heaven's Road" or "Building Up the Kingdom". After the song, step into the "lesson"! Share this scripture after the song and explain that God not only encourages us to learn more about his Word but also his people! Our objective is to learn about our date and the ways they have built up the kingdom!

LEARNING OUR ABC'S

This activity is super fun, please make sure that everyone has this printed out or has flashcards that they could decorate. Everyone could either cut out the flashcards and then write the description of their date or vice versa. Feel free to personalize the theme for the flashcards as well! You can make it about your Bible Talk if you guys are in the same ministry or you can describe what are grateful for about God's kingdom or your things that describe your date - the possibilities are endless!

Once everyone is done filling everything out, take the time to share it with everyone on the date or you can also share it with just your date if you are running low on time. It will be so encouraging and fun listening to the different words used to describe each other!

My household did this as a family time to describe our household and it was so fun describing the things we love about our household and each other!

Please comment below with pictures of your date!

The full date description can be found on the Dating Divas website.
